"Practice what you teach"
We should embody the inner attitudes of mindfulness not only as MBSR teachers. We do not “teach” about the inner attitudes of mindfulness, but we express them especially through our being-in from moment to moment. In all of our own perfection and imperfection.
Mindfulness helps us to face the multiple challenges and stressful moments of modern life openly, curiously and lovingly at every moment. Every moment of our life is important in its uniqueness. Mindfulness trains skills such as concentration, self-care, body awareness and much more, which has a positive effect on life, body, mind and health.

Trust encompasses the deep inner conviction that everyone already has everything they need to cope with their life. In my courses, this results in a joint work at eye level.
As a teacher, I may be a more experienced navigator on the wild waves of life and therefore like to share my knowledge and experience with others - but that does not elevate me above the participants.
