Mindfulness with MBSR (Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction)
The training of mindfulness is the basis of the training. Mindfulness means the ability to bring attention to the present moment and directly perceive inner and outer reality without evaluating it.
It is the open and non-judgmental awareness of everything that is right now, be it pleasant or unpleasant. By using mindfulness, even in situations associated with stress, pain and uncomfortable feelings, the mind stops automatically fighting all inconveniences, becomes calmer and more relaxed and gains a new perspective. This way, not only the things that are difficult and painful come into view, but also the many things that are in order. Gaining mindfulness means "being fully there" in every moment of life so that you can meet the challenges of everyday life appropriately.

Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction
is a simple, ideologically neutral and very effective mindfulness training to reduce stress and promote well-being. It was developed and scientifically researched by Jon Kabat-Zinn and his team in 1979 at the Stress Reduction Clinic at the University of Massachusetts. It is now successfully used in many clinics and health centers in the United States and Europe. In more than thirty years, many patients took part in the clinic's eight-week group program. In Germany, mindfulness training has been successfully carried out in the clinical area as well as in professional development since the mid-1990s.

How does it work?
Numerous scientific studies impressively prove the effectiveness of the training. Participants report on the following changes.
|
Just 26 hours of mindfulness training can make a significant difference. Stress often comes from the outside, but also from our personal inner stress intensifiers, such as high expectations of ourselves or our own worries and how we perceive ourselves.
|
Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction is the best researched anti-stress training worldwide. It is not a technique or method, but rather an inner attitude towards life. The essence of mindfulness is universal and has to do with the nature of our mind and nothing to do with ideology, religion or beliefs.
