MBSR - Stress management through mindfulness

In the 8-week MBSR course according to J. Kabat-Zinn, the participants experience directly how mindfulness works.
This is done by practicing formal mindfulness exercises together while sitting, walking and moving. Essential exercises are: guided meditation while sitting with attention to the breath, body awareness exercise while lying down, as well as a unit with gentle stretching and Exercises from yoga. In exchange about the experiences made with the course management and among themselves, the understanding of the value of practice in everyday life grows. Since the effect only develops through regular practice and the integration into everyday life is an important element, the accompanying practice of mindfulness exercises at home is supported with MP3s.
In addition, short lectures on stress are given. The connection of the aspects of stress and mindfulness is of central importance. How the practice of mindfulness can change the personal handling of stress is not only conveyed, but also experienced in concrete terms.

What are the course topics:
  • Mindfulness exercises while sitting, lying, walking (body scan, meditation) and in motion (mindful yoga)
  • Integration of exercises in everyday situation
  • Short lectures and group exchange on key issues such as dealing with stress, difficult feelings, mindful communication and self-acceptance
What is learned in this training:
  • staying calm and prudent even in challenging situations strengthens empathy and compassion without spending yourself
  • A reliable and continuous presence to strengthen suggestions
  • Burn-out prevention
  • Receive suggestions for the integration of mindfulness exercises in the respective context
The 8 week training includes

     Personal preliminary talk to get to know each other
     8 appointments with approx. 2,5 hours per week
     Mindfulness day with about 6,5 hours
     Manual and Mp3 files with exercise instructions

  • MBSR Training is effective and sustainable for EVERYONE.

Requirement:
  • MBSR is a program that requires participation.
  • Readiness for self-awareness and self-reflection are required.
  • Independent practice between the individual course units

Course fee:
  • Early bird price if you register by 31. March 2020: € 308.00
  • Course fee for registration from 01. April 2020: € 338.00
Installment payments and discounts (for students and people with low income) possible.
A deposit of 50 euros is due upon registration.
